There’s been the unmistakable sound of singing coming from my photo library again. This time it’s the doors (not The Doors) who are offering the musical interlude.
Take a listen …
***********************************************************************************************
This musical interlude was inspired by Thursday Doors, hosted by Norm Frampton at Norm 2.0. All photos were taken in Dublin.
Nice one!
thes are great pictures. like the musical accompaniment.

Joanne, Iโm so glad to hear that you found a backup of your photos. yay!
Boy, those tunes sure take me back. 99 bottles of beer on a wall reminds me of many a teenaged party, not to mention singing it on a bus on a spring break ski trip (no social distancing then). And as for Stairway to Heaven, it reminds me of registration day at UBC in first year. This was during the time of manual registration and standing in line for up to two hours for each course you registered in. My friends and I came back to our residence room, turned off all the lights and played Stairway to Heaven at full blast. I still have that album (vinyl) somewhere.

Both of us loved Dublin. We experienced in the wind, rain, and cold. It even snowed at one point … but my memories are all fond.

A fun way to play with your photos, Joanne. It is difficult to imagine number 4 in real life. Wow! Thanks for my evening smiles.๐

That one was a wow. It is in an atrium at the Dublin Art Museum and the room has this single entrance/exit. You don’t see the mural until you turn around to leave. The effect is definitely a wow.

I love the musical twist, Joanne! I thought that Viking Ship would be my favorite because it’s creative and bold. And then I thought it would be the pub because I love that quilt-patterned glass. But I think the mural may take the cake. I’m always in awe of what some artists can create! ๐

A singalong doors post! It may be my favourite doors post ever. ๐
Although, I didn’t know Bad to the Bone. Got all the rest, though. Suspect You’ve Got to Hide Your Love Away will stick in the head the longest having been a Beatles fan since I was seven.

Bad to the Bone has to be one of my favourite songs. Regardless of what playlist I used while running, this song was on it.
… and yes, Hide your Love Away has been an ear worm stuck in my head for a few days now. I suppose it could be much worse. I was about to offer a suggestion of a worse one, and then thought best not to. Youโre welcome ๐
