The perfect title for the perfect picture. You weren’t the only one who was late. That is a great picture. Isn’t it fun to snap them at just the right time! 🙂

It is actually a lovely building and I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to actually go and get a photo of it 🙂

As much as I love the doors I especially love the people bursting forth. Great street image Joanne.

This was one of those happy accidents. When I saw it afterwards, I liked it so much more than the doors alone 🙂

Given it’s taken me until Tuesday to get here, I am not finger-pointing. I am, however, now stuck with the White Rabbit singing “I’m late! I’m late! For a very important date” in my head. Thanks for that.

Since I’ve never seen Alice in Wonderland except in various snippets here and there, I’m thankfully immune to this one 🙂

Bank robbers escaping? Maybe not, but they’re definitely escaping. 🙂 I’m late at getting to all the entries, so I didn’t even notice you were late with your lovely doors. Well, maybe the doors aren’t that special, but the building around them is.

The carvings were so beautiful and you reminded me of the rabbit from Alice in Wonderland who said, “I’m late, I’m late for a very important date!” I accidentally didn’t post a door so this is at least a gorgeous entry, whenever it gets viewed. 🙂

Thanks Norm. I agree. The door itself is sadly functional, but the entrance is magnificent 🙂

Some things are worth the while. I love the shot with the people actually using the door. They look very enthusiastic, like they just won a battle. Great shot!

I wish I could actually take credit for it, but it was completely accidental. They charged out the door just as I was taking my photo.
I wasn’t happy about their disruption, but in the end I decided I liked this photo the best out of all the others I eventually took. Like you, I like their sense of urgency in storming out.

This door is beautifully massive and I love it! The guys walking out (and that cute one smiling directly at you, I might add) is such a great touch. Awesome photo, Joanne.

When I looked at the photo afterwards, I too noticed the smile. I can’t tell whether he was smiling in response to his conversation with the other guys or because he saw me across the street with a camera aimed at that door.

What a glorious entrance – love those floral capitals. Not so much the modern doors, but you captured a great image here with those chaps rushing through 😀

The guys were purely accidental 🙂 They burst through the door in a hurry just as I snapped the shutter.
I silently swore and then waited to take several more. In the end, this is the one I liked the most. Figures! 🙂

Good luck with that one! Took me a couple of years to buy a new camera. Each time I decided on what model to buy, out would come a newer version! Eventually I went for a mirrorless Olympus – nice and light, but has interchangeable lenses so I could finally indulge in a proper macro lens.

That’s exactly what I’m discovering. With each purchase, I learn something new, but the price tags are getting uncomfortable and this time I need to get it ‘right’.
In the end, it’s always a case of being tripped up by what we don’t know yet. The last time it was not understanding the power of the image sensor.
Who knows what my ugly surprise will be this time?
